how do I know if my threads are TOO long?

i can feel mine very easily, only having to go one knuckle deep on my index finger before coming into contact with them and i fear that forplay / masterbation/sex may snag the threads very easily

i only had it inserted on friday so very new to the coil

any advice?

No coil has the same length in strings, I think it varies from person to person. When you first get the coil fitted they seem very long and easy to find. As the coil settles and you have had it a week or longer the threads sort of curl around up near your cervix out of the way. hth
