coldsore- early pregnancy symptom?

hi,

i'm 7dpo and have just got a coldsore.

i have had coldsores at this stage with my last 3 pregnancies but also get them occasionally when not pregnant.

has anyone noticed this as a very early symptom?

I didn't notcie this as a symptom but it sounds hopefull if you had them with your last three pregnancies. Unfortunately its a waiting game at this time. Ill keep my fingers crossed for you honey xx

I have absolutely no idea... I had never had one before and then about 5 weeks into pregnancy I got one! Could be complete conincidence though

I got 3 about 2 days after my BFP! It was sooo annoying. I hate them! x

Yup I had one pretty early on in pregnancy and another now. The joys of a reduced immune system!

I'm a dental hygienist, so I see a lot of cold sores. They're caused by all kinds of things, so I'd say if you had them with other pregnancies it could be a good sign. They can also come on with stress, spicy foods, or just on their own for no apparent reason. Good luck! I hope it's a pregnancy sign for you!

I had a coldsore type spot I nomally get them in one section on my face but different feeling to nomal spots it didn't last long but yes I had one last week too.

Yep. I have my second this pregnancy! Crappy thing is u can't use anything on them
