Colposcopy at eight weeks :( help

Hi I got confirmation that my colposcopy will be in 2 weeks time when I will be eight weeks pregnant . I rang the gynae secretary and she assured me they would just be having a look at my cervix and not doing anything invasive but I still can't help but worry she said many pregnant women have it done , my smear just came back borderline changes so I'm hoping it's okay , I do have hpv tho anyone else had to get a colposcopy whilst pregnant . Trying to be calm but just need some reassurance , I'm hoping my cell changes don't progress much further

Ive heard many people get it done and baby was just fine...but you can always book it for after birth. But with you having hpv, i would look into if you should wait or not as i dont know how that will affect baby as ive never had it.
