Ok so me and the SO broke up last week and because of that I'm not going to be exclusively breastfeeding. I am going to pump what I can buy every day starting at 4PM he's going to get formula. Now I don't want to have to pump at night I want my supply to regulate. How do I accomplish this? I am planning. On one pumping session a night say around 630 or 7 but that's it. So far I've fed him a bottle around 4 so skipping his nursing and then breastfed the rest of the night so we're successfully skipping one feed but don't know where to go from here. Any help would be appreciated!

Well I am going to pump but only during the day and one evening pump. What i'd like to do is have my supply regulated to just daytime. When I went back to work after Julian was 10 months my supply regulated to just be in the evenings but that was at 10 months so I'm wondering if it'll work differently trying to do it so early this time.

It may all be in vain to cause if Byshop spends the weekend with him then I'd have to pump all weekend and I'm not sure how I feel about doing that.

It should still work out the same.
I replaced a morning feed with a bottle from 2 weeks and my body adjusted fine.

Well I hope it works nice and easy :) I haven't had a chance to pump yet tonight - its 9PM - and I have given him two bottles tonight so we'll see what happens. Out of two bottles he drank about 8.5 ounces. Going to pump shortly and hopefully the next feed is all breastmilk from a bottle :)
