what is the most common girls name and boys name you know?

im not talking top 1 in list, or what do you here most on forum etc... but what do you PERSONALLY know the most of in REAL life

thought it might be interesting to see how it changes from place to place

I'll start

Girl:

Lily/Lili/Lilly - multiple spellings but the same name

boy:

this is harder I would say Harry (but Lewis and Oliver are very close)

Girls:
Isabelle/Isabella/Bella. I feel as though every second little girl I meet has these names.

Boys:
Oliver, Charlie, Joshua, Noah.

I asked my husband who is a first grade teacher. He said:

Girls:
Bella/Isabella/Anabella

Boys:
Joshua, Tyler

We are in Australia :)

I'm not sure which age group you are referring to, or if you just want to know in general in my life!

I know a bunch of these but they are mostly adults:
Girls name: Jess/Jessica & Sarah
Boys: Chris/Christopher & James

If you're talking about young children, Oliver is one I've seen a lot at work (dental office) & Ava is becoming quite common as well as Olivia.

I'm also in Australia, but a different state to Lala :flower:

I'm in Canada.

Most common girl's name out of the people I know and have seen at work would probably be Ava, most common boy's name probably Aiden and Jacob.

I'm in the US (CT)
Girls - Lily, Isabella, Ava, Olivia...
Boys - Jacob, Jayden, Christopher...

I'm in the US...I think we live in kind of a hipster area which probably explains why a few of these are a bit less common, but these are the ones I've heard recently:

Boys:
Rowan
Asher
Liam
Connor

Girls:
Evelyn
Lily
Sophia
Ivy

I'm in Canada and it seems as though every other couple names their baby Olivia or Jackson.

I'm in Canada I would also say girls : Olivia, Ava, Sophia and Isabella
Boys: Jackson, Jacob, Lucas

Boys: Lucas and Aiden (and all the rhymes with Aiden names)
Girls: Eilidh (with various spellings) and Ava.

Ella is probably the most popular girls name here, I know lots of them born in the past couple of years! For boys then James is really popular, as is Alfie.

Girls - Amelia and Lily

Boys - Harry and George

I'm in illinois, US. There are tons of Aiden, jayden, and braedon's! I can not stand the names ending in den don.
For girls lily, olivia, isabelle/isabella, belle/bella

I'm in England in the west midlands and for me it is:

Girls - leah and lily
Boys - Dylan and callum

Lily, Poppy and Grace seem to be really popular in the UK at the moment. Every other boy seems to be a Jayden or Riley

Although on record the post popular name is olivia, I dont know any! Only on here.

At toddler groups I'd say probably. Charlie and Esme/Isla.

I find im the same, I keep hearing their are millions of Aidens or ?aidens and ive never met a single one

its interesting to see the variations
