First question, i have an iCandy Cherry but no footmuff. As its getting colder i want to get one for my LO, but they are like £85 to buy new  I know i can get a universal one but i really want an iCandy one to match my pram. They have a few going on eBay alot cheaper, but they are for the iCandy Apple/Pear/Peach. I was just wondering if anyone knows if these ones will fit on the Cherry? I have tried to call the helpline but they are closed over the weekend :dohh:

Also, as its getting colder my LO is normally in a snowsuit and a thick blanket which she seems nice and warm in. But would a footmuff also be too much? I worry about her overheating! What about if she was in a coat and cardigan, blanket and footmuff? Any helped appreciated!

Can't help about icandy but personally I just use jacket and footmuff. I don't think it makes too much difference though as the key bit to get the temperature right on is the torso anyway.
I think either use blanket -or- footmuff though. But my baby doesn't seem to mind the cold and is a bit older.

You could always stick with the snowsuit and blanket but use the rain cover as well. I always use the raincover if its really cold to keep a bit of the cool air off my LO's

I used a cherry footmuff on my apple and it fit, I also used universal and custom made ones on it too-so they should fit too if you wanted to go down that route

Stalking..... I have a strawberry so was wondering the same thing x

I think the snowsuit and blanket should be enough and using the rain cover if it's really windy, I think its a bit too much with snow suit, thick blanket and footmuff x

I don't tend to use snowsuits unless we're doing something like dog walking where I know we're out in the elements for a while - tend to just do coat, gloves, hat, footmuff.

As for cosytoes - I refused to pay iCandy's prices when I had my Cherry (well I still do - it's just upstairs cos I haven't sold it yet) - and just used one of those bright coloured fleecy ones as a fashion statement rather than coordinating the full set.

Have you looked on Gumtree? Our local one seems to be raining Cherry accessories at the moment!

I dont have a i candy my pram is the mamas and papas sola and the footmuff for that was about 70 pound which i thought was madness but i got it to match my pram. When it came it seemed really thin and didnt seem like it would keep lo warm on cold days so i brought a universal footmuff off amazon for 20quid.
lo wears a thin coat and the footmuff when we go out and on the last 2 occasions she has been sweating because of the footmuff. ( it is fleeced lined) Now i let her wear a coat and cover her with blankets and use the rain cover if its windy. Its much better.

The new icandy ones are universal Hun, just got one for my cherry. Was £80 but MIL paid for it. It's so thick and lovely! X

Thanks ladies? So really I should just use the footmuff if she is wearing a coat? If not a snowsuit and blanket is ok? I'm gonna try get a footmuff on eBay because £70/£80 is ridiculous!

I agree. I would never have bought one myself.. Second hand I would off eBay but not new. They feel lovely and are worth spending about £40 hope you get one :) xx
