I'm now CD17 and for the past few days my OPK's were getting darker and I was expecting my big O today and instead of getting even darker, the lines are now fading! Done three OPK's today so far (it's 4pm in UK) and the lines are all the same - fading. So my question is whether I've ovulated over night or didn't ovulate at all? :/ I have PCOS but for the last few cycles I had very definite darker than control line lines around CD14-16. I'm so confused.
I also had an almost positive OPK on CD10, maybe I've ovulated early ??

Chances are you might have ovulated early

Could you have o'd in the night?

I thought exactly the same, that i ovulated at night, when i've done the test this morning and it came back negative. I am a poas addict lol and thought i'd do a random opk at cd 10 and to my surprise it was almost almost positive, darker than any line on the above paper i've attached, i threw it away though, didn't think anything of it. So maybe, just maybe I could have ovulated CD9 or 11. read it's possible so crossing my fingers this was it! I had a tiny bit of blood in my cm three days ago. Hoping that's a good sign

I just had my first positive OPK on CD 10, which seems early to me, but its still positive today on CD 11 so I would say you probably ovulated early.

mine did this, mine came in got a bit darker then went to nothing, then bam came back dark and then even darker, keep testing it also helps when you chart temps to confirm,
as it was weird to see mine get darker but not postive, then go to nothing i thoght i missed it but thought no temp rise keep testing and sure enough was about a week later it ws finally positive
