So at my 12 week scan the dr. guessed that baby was a girl based on the "angle of the dangle".

At 14w4d (baby is measuring 2d behind so maybe 14w2d would be more accurate) I went for an elective scan where they told me they were fairly certain it was a boy. We got photos which clearly looked BOY.

Today at 16w1d we went back to the dr. He did a scan and said he is 90% sure it's a girl. He won't be checking for sure until 20 weeks as that's when my scheduled anatomy scan is but he said he saw no evidence of boy parts...
Now I don't care either way but I just want to know so I can start shopping for this little one! Anyone have any thoughts? Have you seen such a boy looking scan from week 14 turn girl?

How confusing for u! The pic u have put on certainly looks boy to me..the earliest I have a scan was 15+6 and there was nothing sticking out at all, we've had a girl confirmed at 20 weeks as well.not sure what the case is earlier on tho. Hope u get a definite answer soon!! X

Yup that looks like a boy to me as well! Update when you finally get an answer!

Congrats on baby!

I will definitely post an update. October 22nd is my 20 week scan date. Feels like forever lol

That is confusing. Doesn't look like "typical" boy parts, but could be the angle or it is still early, could be a girl, etc.

Just for comparison here is my daughter's at 15weeks. I think maybe 15.5 or so. Didn't see the typical 3 lines with her for a little bit. Can see hers kind of look like boy bits if you look a certain way

Do you have a picture of your 12 week scan?

Well we went in for our 20 week scan this week and the mystery continues! Baby had it's legs crossed and fluid was low so she had a hard time seeing anyhow. We have a rescan next week so maybe they'll be able to tell baby's sex then.

so frustrating for you, I can't wait for an update xx

I've heard that boys can't cross their legs? Everyone I know who's had their legs crossed in scans have always been girls.. Who knows!?

Lol I have never heard that but hopefully we will find out either way on Thursday.

Just found out for real lol it's a BOY!!! He must have been hiding his bits at the 16 week scan.

Congratulations! Although this makes me nervous as I was told 90% sure girl at our 16 week gender scan lol xx

Hopefully they got it right for you :) this whole gender thing has been quite the ride lol

Congratulations. Some boys sure do know how to hide their bits lol

Did you get any pics of the "girly" potty shot. I was given one showing the "3 lines" so was hoping you couldn't really go wrong with that one as opposed to just a I can't see a penis so its a girl lol xx

I didn't because it was at 16 weeks and the dr. had said it was still a bit early to determine gender and they'd double check at 20 weeks lol I had a feeling he was a boy from very early on though.
