Confused can anyone help?

I have been TTC for 6 years...as on a previous post!

Have taken provera and had AF after 4 days ..then took clomid days 2 - 6...at the mean time taking metformin...it is now meant to be 11dpo but have had really sore B since I took clomid and has not stopped, is now so painful it wakes me up at night & feeling bloated with some apin in abdominal area.

I need to pee more regularly but all the tests I do are BFN is this the same for any one else or am I experiencing phantom symptoms as I want it to work so much.

It is only my 1st cycle of this but love to know if anyone else has had these sort of symptoms....AF is supposed to be in 4 days????

See, I'm experiencing the exact opposite. I also took Clomid days 2 to 6. Today is CD 9 and so far I've had NO side effects.... I don't think Clomid's working for me

I always thought Clomid caused most common pregnancy/PMS symptoms.... I really hope it is pregnancy for you though and it's just too early for tests to show. Are you using a sensitive test?

Have used sensitive but still BFN but wondering if ones from the internet are as good do not want to spend too much money on more expensive ones till AF is late by at least a week that way I will know for sure.

Clomid did not give me all these side effects straight away has been worse over the last 3 days so you still have time, and I have heard that it can still take a few cycles and that the metformin helps it work as clomid is gloucose intolerant so may be worth you talking to your doctor about that.....hope you get BFP soon please keep in touch and let me know how you get on.

YES!! Clomid gave me every pregnancy symptom there is. It was not until my third day of AF that these symptoms went away. I know how frustrating it is when you have every symptom and keep getting a BFN. To save yourself any heartache, test when AF is due. Believe me I know how hard that is and I learned the hard way. I kept seeing BFN and felt horrible. FX it works for you this cycle

Yes it is very hard every couple of days getting a BFN, seems to be more disappointing every time, will just have to be stronger to stop the urge of testing, but will wait now till next weekend as cycles are so irregular that is can be longer than normal so will wait till a few days after AF is due and see what happens then.

But on a postive note at least I know the drugs are working if AF comes so I know that we have a chance at least in the next few cycles.

YAY for PMA!!! Like you say Id just be happy if Clomid worked for me to bring on ovulation...

I have been on 3x500mg a day Metformin for over 2 months now. But my Dr said that normally he'd want me to be on Met alone for at least 3 months before starting Clomid....I begged him to give Clomid a try sooner though
So I totally accept it may take a few months and a higher dose of Clomid for it to work

Any more developments your end today?

Not as yet had a very faint postive line on clear blue but only half of the vertical line , and forgot about it , it says not to read after 10 mins so will leave a few days and see then.

Just a waiting game I expect.

Nice to here that your doctor listened to you though.

Well AF arrived today, but on the postive side at least I know the drugs are working so roll on next month!!!

BFN but egarly awaiting next month!!
