Confused, have I got my dates wrong??

I am due on 28th May 2011. I have couted back 40 weeks from that date, and so every Saturday I come along another week.

At the moment I calculate that I am 25+2, so am 25 weeks pregnant.

A friend of mine has said she's 15+2 so is in her 16th week of pregnancy I am confused .... surely she's in her 15th week?

Do me and my MW have my dates all wrong then?!!

You're both right. You're 25 weeks pregnant but in your 26th week, just like when you're 1 year old you're in your second year of life. So she is 15 weeks but in her 16th week. See?
