My husband and I have been trying to conceive our first child for about a year and a half now. About a month and a half ago we stopped trying, and just stuck to using condoms because I was become obsessed, stressed with all the BBT charting, monitoring foods, etc. We did not use a condom twice.
About a week after one of those nights, I got a sudden cold. Sore throat, coughing, flem, congestion, runny nose. Bleh! I work at an elementary school, and have horses so I didn't think anything of it. Until i realized I am 10 days late for my period!
I am afraid to think I am pregnant because the disappointment is becoming life altering. Right before we stopped trying, I read that taking NSAID medicines can dramatically affect TTC, and sounded like the root of my problem. I used to take IBprophin everyday for body aches and headaches/ migrains. It said that the drugs thicken your lining so implantation cant happen, and ovulation can sometimes not occur, even if you are charting and your temp says you are. My periods have always been a little off, but for the most part consistent.
I am experiencing pre symptoms. Light cramping, bloated, breast tenderness, headaches, discharge, and feeling like I could start, but not all the time. My husband even pointed out my breasts looked bigger (I have been stress eating and it could be where the weight went first!)
I was supposed the start on the January 20, 2015, and its now the 30th. I took a PT on the 22nd, BFN. December 2014 I started on the 20th, November 2014 I started on the 16th.
Any ideas? Any guidance?
