Confused...pelvic pain...no UTI...help!

So I was having some pelvis pain earlier this week and some stinging when peeing. I went to the doctor and she did a dip stick which came back high for leukocytes. But the urine culture takes a few days to come baxk. She started me on the antibiotics right away though because if it was a UTI she didn't want it to go untreated. Well she called back today and the urine was negative. So she told me to stop the antibiotics.

I'm just so confused about what caused the pain and discomfort?? And whether it'll cause problems that I was on the antibiotics when I didn't need to be ?? :/ She made it seem like it wasn't a problem.

Anyone experience any of this?

I actually just experienced this. I also thought I had a UTI, when the doctor tested, she said it came back negative. I was told that the pain could be from the growth of the baby and uterus and that they're pressing on the bladder more than usual. I honestly didn't get a clear answer for the pain but my discomfort actually disappeared.
