I am on microgestion birth control. I've been with my fiancé for 4 years. We ended up taking a slight break and so I lacked on my bc. I didn't take it the same time and I constantly missed pills. When we got back together i had the same habits. So If I wasn't on bc I would of ovulated April 3&4 and I had sex on both days. I missed two pills during that week. I went to doctor the 8th and my hcg was 0.0. But they said I have a kidney infection which I rarely EVER get one. I read online it takes atleast a week to attach to wall then creates hcg. Did I go too early? I have symptoms of white discharge, headaches, backaches, cramping a little, pain on both ovaries, nausea, and my boobs have
gotten fuller. I might be silly for thinking there is a chance but Could I still be pregnant?
We are crossing our fingers!

Hi, it can take some time for your body to adjust after being on bc. I know people can get pregnant by missing pills, but usually if taken correctly for a long time it will take a while for your body to adjust.

You can wait a while longer and see if your hcg levels increase and show with a bfp, or it may be just hormones changing and beginning to level out. I've been off bc since Feb 5th but was only on it for around a year. I thought I was pregnant because I had SO many symptoms SO long before my period - sore and bigger boobs, ridiculously sensitive nipples, heightened sense of smell, cramping and stabbing pains, lower back ache, the list went on.

But I also had a UTI so my bloating could've been to do with my uterine lining thickening and also my UTI. I came on my period yesterday.

So, I don't know - maybe wait a while and take a test if symptoms persist or see your doc again if you're unsure.

But you are right, the hcg hormone takes a while sometimes to get in the blood and urine stream as it is created by the hormones in the placenta as the pregnancy takes place.

Good luck x
