Hi everyone, just wanted some advice as I have had some strange bleeding this week.

After my mmc at the end of June I had 1st AF exactly 28 days later. Pretty light but seemed to be a straightforward period, no clots, no pain.

Then I had cervical cauterization about 3 days before next AF should have been due. I then had a bleed on 28 days again, thought 'great, things seem to be going straight back to normal', but it was very short and light. Again no clots.

Then, only 9 days after what I thought was AF, I started bleeding again, and haven't stopped for 8 days, over the weekend it was heavier than I've ever had and had some clots. I had a check up for the cervical erosion and my consultant said it was most likely a period, definitely not coming from the cervical tissue.

So I thought maybe the bleed on 28 days was to do with the operation, and then this is my proper AF, but would be a 39 day cycle? Does this sometimes happen with the 2nd AF after mmc?

But then I suddenly thought what if it's a chemical? Especially with the clots. I had actually done a test on about day 32 but it was BFN, but it was one of those cheapo internet ones.

What do you think? Strange, long 2nd cycle after mmc with some clots, or chemical?

Any advice very welcome xx

Sorry, didnt want to read and not reply.
Im afraid i dont know the answer though as im only just going thru my 1st mc.

Hope you find out.

It is strange that you had AF as normal after m/c and then the 2nd AF was later than normal.

There is every chance it was a chemical as you know they always say you are more fertile and likely to get pregnant after a m/c.

I suppose you'll never know for sure but it is certainly possible. Is it possible? Did you DTD around the time you would've ovulated? If you know that you did then it is very possible it has been a chemical.

Sorry dont think I've been much help but you'll know your own body and if clots aren't usual for you then it could signify a chemical xxx
