Confused when to test please

Hi new to the site but been a long time reader. Sorry if this question has been asked alot already but Im a bit confused! My cycle is normally 23 or 25 days. My fertile days were suppose to fall between the 23-28 Aug (23 day cycle) or 25-30 Aug (25 day cycle). I used a ovulation test kit for the first time and had a LH surge on the 2nd of Sept along with the normal ovulation pains. So does my Af due date still stick being due 9-11 sept or do I now count 14 days from ovulation which would now be roughly the 16th of Sept?

I would count 14 days from when you ovulated. Which they actually say 12-16 days after ovulation so I guess that doesn't help much. sorry. It's better to push it out longer so you don't test too early and get discouraged if they are negative.

Thanks, I figured I was in for a longer wait now!

I would start testing 12 days after ovulation but it all depeneds if you will get dishertened if you see a neg if its to early.
