Hi Ladies,
My lo is 7 weeks old, weighs 10lb 11oz and has a 4oz bottle every 2 hours. I was just reading on the formula packaging that babies having a 4oz bottle should be having 5 feeds in 24 hours...what? My lo is having about 12 in 24 hours! Am I at fault here? Bit worried now that im overfeeding lo?! xx

HI hun, the info on the tub is only a guideline. U can never overfeed a baby. When they'r full they'll let u knw. xx

Seems like the guidelines on the packaging are way out, what babies are they basing them on? What if someone took those guidelines literally!!

U'r right. I used to do the same, but my baby used to take less, so I used to give him extra feed & he ended up sick. So I went into feeding on demand. He's a big baby on the 90th percentile & it never affected his growth. Some babies can take more & has higher metabolism. It's like adults.

Give ur LO what he wants hun, & dont worry about guidelines, babies go through times were they need the extra calories they were getting when they were tiny. xx
