Confusion wth OPK

I am new to this forum. I started using the clearblue easy advanced digital OPK. I started testing on CD7 (AF ended CD6 which is longer than usual). Yesterday I got a solid smiley face on CD9 and then again today I got a solid smiley face on CD10. I am so confused. I thought you are supposed to get a blinking smiley face and I went right from a circle to a solid. We DTD yesterday on the first solid smiley. Hubby is away now for next couple days. I don't want to miss my window. I've read the directions so much it's making me dizzy.

I just use the wondfo strips and they always pick up on my surge , last month I got a dark positive on wondfo and the clearblue was negative so I doubt they are very sensitive and I did not like having to wait for 5 minutes for it to give me a result.

I got confused with my opk last month, I thought You got a smiley face for a couple of days and I only got one for one afternoon ! So was worried something wasn't right. We weren't TTC last month, will be first time this month so hopefully better luck with it this time. I used them last pregnancy and conceived first try and that was dtd day b4 on the day then couple of days after smiley so if u dtd recently and ur hubby away couple of days maybe just do it again as soon as u can if he is home.I'm sure u get smiley the couple of days b4 ovulation when u get the LH surge.
