Constant attention

Anyone else has a five year old who wants constant attention? Constantly wanting food or fir yoy to play with games or play playmobil.

Until last month was an only child. So has no one to play with. It's so draining. She is just so ungrateful when I give her cuddles or play with her or do or arrange nice things. She is ungrateful and rude. She never says thank you to others Ie family friends and has to be reminded to say please and thank you.

She gets so frustrated and angry when she can't build Lego, ride bike etc all my family and friends just walk away and dnot bother with her because of her attitude I just can't wait fir her to go back to school.

She ignores when I speak to her unless I'm offering her chocolate. She ignores kids at school when they say hello.

No advice sorry but sounds just like my five year old boy! Im 40+4 pregnant and really struggling to keep up and know he won't get all the attention soon!

Maybe having a new sibling is the reason? She might feel like she has been replaced and is not sure she still counts. So her demanding attention is her way of trying to rebond with you and to still feel important. She is only little and not able to reason this out.
And as for being rude, do you think she actually knows that she is being rude? Maybe she is just expressing her upset in the only way she knows how?
