constipation **TMI warning**

for the last two days i have been so consipated. i managed to pass a very solid stool earlier. my midwife gave me some laxatives this morning how long before they kick in im very uncomfortable xx

are you on iron tablets hun?

Drink lots and lots of water and try eating things that are high in fibre. Wheetabix worked for me

it was 6 days after my c-section that I finally had a BM. Glycerin suppositories worked for me.

It was 10 days for me before I had a BM. I was taking stool softeners from the day I had Bella.

The iron tablets make you really constipated. And word of warning.. my first poo was jet black (tmi!). Try taking your iron tablets with a glass of fresh orange. Thats what my MW recommended to me.
