contraception?

what contraception are you ladies on - if any?!

im on the mini pill and i really don't like it, have alot of cramping but no period and am sure its helping with the weight that won't budge (wipes biscuit crumbs off lap)

what are the alternatives when bfeeding?

hiya i had a coil fitted last week.
No problems at all with it - had 3 before and is brill as no extra hormones in system.
i was the same as you on mini pill and cannot take combined pill as get migraines

I was on Cerezette - I hate it. I only took 1 packet and it's stopped my period. I'm really regular normally. Since weaning my period had come back nice and regular (28 days) and here I am 2 weeks late... I stopped taking it almost 4 weeks ago!

We will be using condoms from now I think till I can go back on the combined pill. I think the implant is safe when BFing though.

yeah its Cerezette im on i really don't like it at all! i haven't actually had a period yet! which although i don't 'like' having a period, at least i know everything is working when i get one!

don't think condoms are an option for us as OH hates them as most men do! could look into the coil, is it easy to have taken out? we will prob start TTC by end of the year xx

We use a diaphragm - my OH doesn't like condoms and I refuse to go back on the pill as I hated it. The only downside of it is my OH says it is sometimes a little like a trampoline!

I was on implant while BF last time ...tho my cycles was regular on it they was short every 19 days

You could use natural family planning? I still check my CM and CP and I'm going to do that if my period ever returns....If you are going to TTC soonish I'd say it would be worth it as getting pregnant wouldnt be the end of the world. I WISH I had never bothered with that blasted pill

i have a coil but i manaed to have pull it out over the weekend wth a tampon!! that was a fun (and very uncomfortable) wait in a and e for a nurse to just push i back in!! OUCH!!! Might have to have a rethink on contraception...or another baby

I just had the Mirena Coil fitted yesterday! Knocked me for six but it will be worth it!

I'm on the mini pill and its stopped my periods too, i hate it but i'm going to have to keep going with it till Dec..i think I dont want to have a coil fitted cos it scares me and also want to TTC beginning of next year. I also hate that it makes me SO bloated Sorry i have no other option than condoms and i'm waaay to lazy to bother with them

Although i have forgotten to phone my doctor AGAIN to get more pills
