contraceptive implant

i had the implant in firstly in April 2009, but then because of reasons I had it taken out in October 2009. Nothing happened with it, it all went fine and dandy. No problems.

Had the implant put back in this year in June 2010 because I met a new lad and since then my god has it been playing up. I am getting periods which don't bother me but they are excruciatingly painful! I have had a non-stop urine infection since having it put in. I know it's the implant because I have been treated for it and it keeps coming back.

My periods are more painful now then before I had the implant put in.
Is this normal??

I'm not too sure tbh hun but if your worried go to the doctors

I had the implant put in in January 2005 but had it taken out in June 2005 as I put on 2 stone in that time

The only contraceptive I had problems with was the coil ... I had really heavy periods with that and in the end I couldn't cope and had to have that removed too. I went to the doctors about the periods and they just recommended trying a different contraceptive xx
