I just googled free contraction apps. I also used one on thebump.com

There's an app on iTunes called health and parenting pregnancy it is great for info planning and has a contraction timer

Check the free apps before you rely on them - unbeknown to me up until it happened, the free one I downloaded only let me record 20 contractions before having to pay for an upgrade to record more! My baby was back to back so the intensity and frequency of my contractions were all over the place, so 20 contractions took no time at all. Obviously, I can see the funny side now - but at the time it really wasn't funny! So just make sure that the fee apps are full versions that won't make you pay for an upgrade to keep using them! Good luck :)
