Are any of you guys getting regular non stress tests? I've been getting them twice per week since week 32 and all has been well throughout.

Today they told me they had noticed that i was having contractions. It's the first time they had noticed any, but I didn't feel them and they were painless. The doctor came in and didn't seem stressed about it and I'm seeing them Tuesday anyway, so I guess it's OK b/c they sent me home.

As an aside, the baby is measuring big, so he's growing just fine. He's already at 5lbs 13oz as of a week ago. I go in for another growth scan on the 13th, hopefully he'll stay in that long.

Anyone else have contractions during your NST? Something to worry about or are they just Braxton Hicks and I'm oblivious b/c I didn't notice them.

When I was pregnant with my son I had NSTs weekly and I had contractions throughout. They were not painful. Are they regular at all?

They may be Braxton-Hicks or they may be contractions... It isn't really anything to worry about if you cervix isn't changing. You might just be at the start of your ripening phase. It could go on for quite a while!

Most likely if they are painless, your cervix isn't dilating. Just getting prepared for the big day!

yup me. I go for nsts twice a week for pre e and growth scans every 3. she too was weighing 5lbs 10 oz as of a week ago. So my last nst i wasnt contracting. On the one before i had some pretty regular contraction the one before that no and the one before that yes. It kinda back and forth lol Well on the one i had yesterday my contractions where showing up very strong and regular. I was feeling them ( although i always do i think because its my third baby) but the doc said my strip looked like someone who was in full blown labor. She did check my cervix just incase even though i assured her im not and they are just bh. I was just 1 cm dilated. But i was hooked up for two hours yesterday (baby kept moving off the monitor) and my contractions where right ontop of eachother. So if you are not feeling them i deff wouldnt worrie about them. Your body is just getting preparedxx

Thanks for the replies. :) The doctor said that next week they'll start checking my cervix and said they just happened a few times, nothing too regular, so I guess I shouldn't stress myself too much.

What I need to do is put together my hospital bag though. We're in the middle of two living spaces (bought a new house that we haven't officially moved into & are slowly moving our stuff out of our apartment which is under contract and is expected to close by Sept 15th) so it's utter chaos. I really need to grab and pack a bag though, just in case!

lol tell me about it so do i. Im getting induced either next week or the week after and i still havnt finished washing all her clothes or hospital bag packed. I soo far behind

I'm really glad that I'm not the only one. I've started packing a bit here and there, but there's still the washing that I need to do. Soon, soon! This baby is going to be coming home in hospital clothes at this rate. hah

haha yup! lol I really need to get a move on too. I have learned that in past experiences though the longer you wait the faster those last weeks go vs doing everything and not having anything to do in the last month. Thats thats the only positive thing about it. I did have my hospital bag packed with my son until the day before i went into labor lol
