Hi all - sorry if this seems a silly post !

I have had 6 healthy children & am on my 7th. I had 2 mc before getting pregnant with no. 7.
I have been constantly worried something is not right :-( never felt like this in any other pregnancy. I first put it down to having the 2 mc but I still cant shake the feeling now Im 30 weeks.

At my 12 week scan baby was curled up in a ball.
20 week scan a club foot was noted but baby was still curled up.
Had another scan due to the possition of baby & club foot & baby was still curled up so still not a good view.
Baby is measuring small - all my babies have been big !
Cant see the sex as baby was so scrunched up in all the scans.

I have also correctly guessed what sex my others were before the scan - this time I have no intuition if a boy or girl !

I was offered an amnio due to the club foot & them not being able to check baby because of possition - but declined.

I dont know why I am so worried !

Do you think I could push for another scan ?

Didn't want to read and run, I think that if you're feeling uneasy then it can't hurt to ask your midwife if you can have a scan. If she says no then there's always the option of a private reassurance scan if you can afford it, have a look for scanning clinics near you.

I think it's natural to worry, especially if you've had 2 losses and then you see something on a scan that doesn't look as you think it should. If baby is moving ok and you're growing well then I'm sure everything is fine. I have had a stillbirth and an m/c and I know with this pregnancy I have been in a world of a fear, so possibly you are experiencing some self doubt like me. But as always, go with your instincts and see if you can get another scan, whether that's through the NHS or privately.

I wouldn't absolutely request an additional scan, infact I'm surprised they aren't suggesting one.sorry you're going through this. How scary.

Hi - just thought I would update this thread :-)

Baby was born a girl - no major problems - both feet were clubbed, fingers overlap & now she looks like she also has a hip problem :-(

Labour & birth was awfull with manual placenta removal !

I was convinced something was wrong & it was, but nothing serious thank goodness.

Baby was very prem though? Congrats on your baby, glad all us well.

Edit: just realised this was a year old, sorry, read it and was thinking baby was born at 30 weeks.
