Cot/crib/moses basket questions

I've got the Oyster buggy and it's lovely! Just planning on getting a new colour pack to freshen up the look of it for out new arrival.

ooh what colour do you have and what will you be getting? I desperately want the yellow one! Will be ordering tomorrow I think, once I fail to find anything else in the shops that matches up

I had the claret colour pack one for my son. Not sure what I'm going to go for this time - maybe the jade or orangey one. Just think a new colour will make it all look new again! Find out on Wednesday if I'm having a boy or a girl so that may help me make up my mind...

Rocking crib here again which we used with our first. For naps in the early days he either went back in the crib or we used the pram carrycot. He learned to roll on his side early so we moved him into his cot bed fairly quickly. Ours had an adjustable height setting for the mattress base, so no need for the drop side.we just lowered the base as he grew.

I'm really looking forward to finally getting the cot and crib

I think I've decided which cot I want, just have to get hubby's opinion I know we won't use the cot for ages after baby comes but I really want to get the nursery all put together sooooon!

And I'm pretty sure we're going to go for the chicco next2me for crib...it doesn't really 'go' with our bedroom, but the price is so much more manageable than the other options and you don't need to buy a mattress separately (or have I misread that?), so all we'd need would be sheets and sleeping bags.

With katie we had the moses basket placed in the cot for the first 5 weeks and then she went into her cot bed. For daytime naps she always used her pram as she had a big carrycot so it was more that suitable for her. For this baby we will we doing the same, moses basket for as long as baby is comfortable and the n straight onto cot bed xx
