i have been looking for my dress. and seen on BHS wedbsite they are selling a basic dress well top and skirt for £28.49.... i am considering getting it getting a lace layover and then putting a royal blue sash....

would i be able to do this do you think it could work? would it be more hassle than its worth????

would you do it

I wouldn't because i'd make a hash of it but if you're good at that kind of thing why not

You do know the top is only available in size 8 and the skirt size 14 upwards x

I'd do it, where the top has the gathered sort of lines, I'd buy small beads and thread and sew them on, and maybe if u want colour, replace the tie up bit of the top with long coloured ribbons. Also, if u have one near you, try and get to a monsoon outlet, they massively reduce their wedding dresses and they are gorgeous!

Personally i wouldnt just because you can get lovely dresses from ebay for under £100 and i would feel like ive got a lovely expensive gown on rather than a make shift dress which i could never make look as nice lol

but if your good with textiles and things like that and you really want to go for it x

Ive seen some lovely made to measure ones on ebay. I thiinking thats were i will probibly end up getting mine from x

yeah i am just looking on ebay for a nice but kinda plain dress then gonna get some material and make a sash which will put below my bust to tie in with our colour scheme
