Could I be having a multiple birth

I've recently found that i'm pregnant but over the last week my stomach has got really big already I think I look like i'm three/four months. Could I be expecting more than one I also have chronic morning sickness?

Im afraid over the internet we couldnt say!! Only way to find out is through a scan.
There is a chance there could be more than one baby, but every pregnancy carries that same chance xx

There's no way we can tell you hun.
It may just be bloating, most people do get bloating beofre developing a bump.
I also had awful all day sickness, but I'm just having one baby

Apparently the baby is the size of a poppyseed at 4 weeks! Crazyness! But yeah its probably just bloating but there is nothing saying that it isn't twins except for probability, you need a scan before you can confirm anything

Who knows? I had HORRIBLE HORRIBLE morning, noon, night, and all times in between sickness for 4 months.. and I am only having one.. I dont think your sickness has anything to do with how many you are having.. As I am sure there are ladies having multiples, who havent had any sickness at all..

You get really bloated at first..

Wowzz. A poppyseed is small I vote bloating also. But yeah, ultrasound is the only clear way to know whether you're carrying multiples or not.

Its just a waiting game Im afraid although extreme morning sickness can be a symptom of multiples! Another thing to look out for is if you can feel your uterus (just above your pubic bone, an odd hard lump) well before 12 weeks you may be in for double trouble! xx

same as the other girls have said, a scan is the only way you'll be able to know. if you've only just found out that you're pregnant then i'm assuming you're only a few weeks gone, so size isn't really a good indicator as it's probably due to bloating x
