Hi, im not pregnant or anything but i just need to know something it's been playing on my mind for years so can anyone help me.

Well i am now 17 but when i was 13 my boyfriend forced me into having sex with him (well ex boyfriend now i ent with him anymore) with no protection well i had started my periods about a year before and for 2 months after i had sex with him i didn't have any periods but then 1 day i got these really bad stomach cramps and started bleeding i didn't really take much notice i thought it was just my period.

So can anyone tell me if it was actually just my period and i just happened to miss 2 of them or was i pregnant but then miscarried.

Thanks in advance.

Hi hun, first let me say "omg" about your ex forcing you to have sex with him. This sounds like it could possibly have been a m/c but I'm no doctor, or it could be just an irregular cycle.Without knowing more about it I couldn't really say.:hugs:

Thank you for the reply i guess i'll never really know will i, there's nothing else really to no just i missed 2 periods and then got really bad stomach cramps and was bleeding so..... this probably sounds stupid but at the time i did kinda feel as if i was pregnant can't really explain it i became like protective of myself like at school when we had to go to are next lessons i would watch where i was going alot more than i did before, i was like more careful i don't know if that was just me or my body knew i was pregnant and my instinct's kicked in i don't know.

Does anyone find that when you are pregnant you seem more careful of the things around you? or am i just being stupid.

I just i want to know if i was ever pg its been playing on my mind for years i'm always thinking "was i....wasn't i" you no i just want to know.

Thanks again x

Hi hun

Theres no way of ever knowing what happened so i'd try to put it out of your mind and move forward.

It isn't healthy to dwell on things like this xx

Hiya!

I totally agree.. you will never know what definately happened...I once had a missed period and thought I might be pregnant but then my period came eventually and it was heavy and painful and I wondered whether I might have been pregnant but there is no way of knowing either way...some of us have pregnancy symptoms very early on and then you hear of others who say, have irregular cycles, who often don't realise they are pregnant for months!.

It's best to put it behind you, try not to dwell on the past but look forward and concentrate on enjoying life! :happydance:

Take care x

It sounds like it really could have been, but, I have missed a couple periods before (not often...maybe 2)...and the next one is always crampy etc... So, you never know. (hugs)

at 13 years old 90% of girls are still having very irregular periods. Im sure thats all it was.

I was told at the EPU that many people miscarry without actually knowing as they miscarry so early and think it is just a period like you did. if you ask at the doctors happen he could send you for a internal scan, when i went for a scan with my twins in December they could tell that i was pregnant before by a line (not sure which one) in my uterus which identifies past pregnancies. I did not give birth to that first child but they can tell if you have previously been pregnant. If you get pregnant now it might show up on your scan, it was a good job i had told my partner or he would have had a shock when she said "this is not your first precnancy is it!?".

Wow I didn't know that!! Thanks!

Vickie I totally understand your curosity, even tho it's unlikely I'd want to know too, but I guess it was so long ago, you'll probably never know. :hugs:
