Could it be a false positive?

Good morning ladies.

I need a little bit of help!

I had a miscarriage and had a D&C on 2 Dec 2016. I was told that it could take a while for the Hcg to leave my system.

My period is due tomorrow but I did a test yesterday and got a positive.

DH and I did do the deed the day I was Ovulating (I took a Ovulation test which was positive)

I am so scared this is another pregnancy that wont make it passed 6 weeks.

How do I know if I am really pregnant?

Hi there! If it's been at least 4 months since you had the D&C, then I think it's safe to bet that this is a real positive you are seeing and not left over hcg.

I do know it can take anywhere from 1 - 5ish weeks for hcg to leave your system after a D&C, depending on how high it was when you had the procedure. I think the only stick in the mud, is if some pregnancy tissue has been retained, but given you have detected ovulation, that seems unlikely (since the body has gone back to functioning in it's non pregnant state).

I agree with, you are definitely PREGO! 💕 there could be a negative in error but never a positive in ettor. If it's positive it's positive! So in faith I will say congratulations to you! Stay positive do not think anything negative. I too had a D&C 7 weeks ago right now I have a really bad cold and symptoms that may be of pregnancy. Yes too soon! I'm going to have faith that that's what it is but I'll be in touch 🤗🤗
