could my faint positives be from my miscarage?

ok first off i'm new here.
but me and my feance just started TTC in march and found out we were pregnant April 14th, sad to say we had a miscarage on april 26th. I got my HCG Quant leval tested that day and was at 231, then two days later it was at 65, and then on may 5th it was at a 3, I'm waiting to get my period back and my cycles are normaly 30-31 days so today is day 29 since i started to miscarry. yesterday I took a dollar store test at 2pm and got a super faint + sign so i got a first responce test and took it at 5:17pm and got a more visable two lines but was stil faint. this morning i took another first responce and the line showed up again still faint but more visible then the first, then at noon today i took a clear blue digital and after waiting almost the whole three mins it came back not pregnant but when i opend the cartige there is two lines the controle is bright and the other is light but a lot thicker. basicaly my question is could i be testing to early? and is there any way my leval 3 hcg is the blame for these faint lines now I'm pritty sure that 20 days after my last blood test it should be zero. am I crazy LOL I just want another child so thanks

I just had my mc last week and pg tests are still coming up VERY dark for me. I dont know how long it should take, but after my d&c they told me to test after 3 weeks and if it still came up positive to let them know.

Sounds like you are almost a month out so I hope for you that its a genuine positive! I'd suggest testing tomorrow morning with first morning urine. If it's darker than today then I'd guess it's the real deal!

If you had a blood test that came back at 3 then that was negative and no pregnancy test would pick that up. Most pick up after 25miu. A negative is anything under 5. I also have spoken to 3 women in the last couple of days who didnt even have an af after mc but got their bfp straight away. I would arrange a blood test if I were you. They can tell the exact figures. Failing that in the meantime I think clearblue measure over 50... so if thats positive then I would be inclined to believe this is a new pregnancy. Good Luck!

I think you should go to the docs and get a blood test.
Here is my story. In December I found out I was pregnant, when I had my blood test my hcg was only 9 (the doctor thought it had already started to drop), two days later it had dropped to 6 and I had a miscarriage. I had had three before that one and it was exactly the same. The only difference was that I had felt normal after the bleeding stopped before, but this time I still felt a little nauseous and fatigued and two weeks to the day I took a test and got a faint line.
I called my doctor and siad what had happened and she said it was probably an evap or a faulty test but to come and make sure I wasn't pregnant. I told her that wasn't possible because I had been temping and knew I had not ovulated.

So I went in for more blood work the next day and the results came back as 17 - higher than the first time!
Four days after that I had a follow up and it had dropped to 6 and then in a few more days it fell to 3 (which is negative).

My doctor sent my blood work to a bunch of specialist to rule out anything nasty and she did an ultra sound just to make sure there was no tissue left - there wasn't. So she was totally confused and said she didn't know how to explain it. She wasn't sure what had happened but everything seemed to return to normal.

However, before that m/c I had got pregnant pretty much every cycle we tried. Even though we lost them early, we at least conceived. But since then, we have not got pregnant at all. I am going to go back for more tests to see if there is any connection?!

Who knows.

The point of me sharing was to say that hcg can be weird, and its a good thng to get checked out - Especially if you could be pregnant!! I really hope this is your happy ending! xx

wow thank you guys, I did take another first responce this morning and there are two lines and a bit darker today but not by much. I still have an hour before my Docter's offic it opened so i'm going to give them a call, to day makes 3 weeks since my last blood test so i am curiouse i dont feel like i'm pregnant or have no signs that AF is coming either so I will let you know

ok so blood test was at 19. but OMG decited that since i'm going to get blood work anyways why not take my last clearblue and it took the whole 3 mins but it said pregnant. still though cant wait for the blood test

I had a similar situation in the last two weeks. It was approximately 5 weeks after my ectopic.. And I got a very faint positive on a test.. Had another urine test at hospital and it was negative.. Went to the doctor next day and my HCG level was 9 (anything above 5 is considered a positive)... Went back a week later and had found that they had dropped to below 2.. Bit of a bummer.. But will TTC again soon!

well yes that is confusing which i gusess you would understand my frustration at the moment. I got a blood test on may 25th, and it was a 19 defanitly higher then the 3 from 10 days after my m/c, so they told me to get blood taken again in 2 days because if it doubled i was probebly pregnant and just really early, well Friday May 27th my test came back as a 30 sounded very promising. today only 4 days later I started to bleed cramping really badly, go to the ER and they say my Blood is back at 6, and that she thinks that there was not a pregnatcy and it was still from my M/C, I just dont understand how exactly 30 days after my m/c my levals went up and then up again and then plumit back down which from my doc's office a 6 is still positive for them. and for the ER Docter keeps saying you werent pregnant to begin with, and just shoves it in my face and makes me feel like an idiot. needles to say i get blood taken again on friday.

So I'm humiliated, hurt, confused, frustrated, cramping worse then ever, my boobs hurt, and I have bruses up and down my arms from seven needle pokes and two blown veins. we just started trying 3 months ago and wow i caint describe it besides i want to sit here blank faced and cry, the weman out there who have been trying for years and years, God bless you I dont know how you have done it

HUNNI!!!!! I am so sorry! I think maybe it was a new pregnancy that also resulted in a loss but maybe they didnt want to give you bad news like that after your recent loss. It seems odd to me your figures would jump up like that. A girl in another thread had the same as you and hers is indeed a new pregnancy too. I am so sorry darlin.

As for the trying for years... you get used to it. Which we shouldnt have too. You just find a way to survive.

I'm hoping and praying for your sticky bfp soon. I would go to your gp though and request a referral.
