Could sore boobs mean I have ovulated this month??

Hi Ladies,

Roughly every other month I experience sore BB's the week leading up to AF which has happened for as long as I can remember. However, some months go by where I dont experience this symptom and it got me thinking that maybe it could be a sign that I ovulated? Earlier in the month I attended my first FS appointment and had a internal scan which showed cysts on both Ovaries which would impact on whether I ovulate each month. The Doctor said that I did not have PCOS as I have no other symptoms so gave me the advice to go away and eat well and book myself in for a HSG. I experience alot of pressure in my ovary areas at the time of ovulation which subsides after a couple days however this is when the boob-ache kicks in - if its going too that month.

Do you ladies think it is possible the boob ache could be linked to a sucessful ovulation or something else?? do any of you have similar symptoms?

Hey Mishi,

I'm new to this forum. I MC in March 2012 and I just had my first blood test (for fertility testing). I have been trying since September 2011.

I have long cycles and hope the fertility test come back clear. Over the past three cycles, I have noticed that I have itchy/sore boobs at time of ovulation (Ovulations according to temps and OPK). What is HSG?
