Council tax!

When are the free months when paying council tax?Is it different for everyone on my dads letter his last payment was in jan making feb and march free on my letter my last payment is in feb does that mean il get march and april free??
hope this makes sense im not very good at putting down what i think in words!

No probably not. Just means that you paid less over more months if that makes sense. The new council tax year starts in april which i assume is the same for us all. But call and ask so you no for sure

i actually pay more than what my dad does and were in the same band only live a few streets away. Yeah i think I will give them a call to double check

we have not had a break at all started paying in march 09 and still paying now lol

Is usually Feb/Mar you get off unless you pay over 12 months they will clarify if you phone

i know its def for 10 months as it says on the letter 10 payments to be made last one to be made in feb, guess il just have to phone just got to find the piece of paper now with my reference no

Have you lived there and been paying the whole year? If not then they could of spread it over longer for you.
