cramping after urinating

Hi All,

I'm nearly 6 weeks pregnant and I've just started getting cramping after I've been for a wee.

I remember getting this when I was pregnant with my DS but it was in my 3rd trimester.

Anyone else getting this? It's quite worrying to me!

Sounds like a possible uti. Maybe get a sample and get doctor to test it x

I had this during week six but they rules out uti for me. Don't forget when u empty your bladder it shrinks, so any movement around that area can cause irritation.

However as gemstone has advised always best to rule out uti x

I agree with previous posters. Make sure to check for uti just to be safe.

I had this but I think it was after week 6.
I had a UTI but I don't know if that's related because now that my UTI is cured I still have it from time to time.
I also have mild pain if I have to pee and wait.

I've had this off and on between 7 weeks and now. It's worse if I end up holding it for a while before I can go. The fuller I am, the sorer the peeing makes me. When I use the restroom a little more frequently, I don't have it happen. OB checked me for a UTI, but nothing came up, so that's good.
