Cramping and bleeding after ultrasound yesterday

As title says, I've been cramping since my ultrasound yesterday and I had bleeding a little yesterday, more like spotting, but it picked up today. I'm sure the ultrasound being first is just a coincidence, just using it as a point of time reference. Anyone ever have bleeding/cramping this late? I called in and am waiting for someone to call me back... Hopefully soon. (Btw, baby was completely fine and no placenta previa, so really not sure what's going on)

I've had bleeding on this pregnancy between 12-18 weeks due to an sch clot, and I know it's a worry.

If it's picked up, i would go up to hospital and get checked out honey

I'd get it checked out at the hospital if you can. One of the reasons for 2nd tri bleeding is placental abruption which can cause preterm labour and endanger both you and your baby's life. I don't want to sound scary because it is most likely nothing, but I'd get it looked at soon.

Thanks for all of the replies, ladies. Went to L&D and found out the bleeding is from a uterine polyp (?). They said it's really nothing to worry about, but I went ahead and set up an appointment with my OB to discuss in more detail what this could mean and what not. Baby is perfectly healthy and all is well with me. They think my cramping was simply BHs that happened in bad timing for me and only made my worrying worse. I'll keep you all updated. Appointment is in 3 days. I'm still worried because they really didn't give me much information other than "it happens", before they sent me on my way.. But I'll be alright. Avoiding Dr. google at all cost! Thanks again!

Glad you and baby are okay. I think I've read polyps are common in pregnancy. Hope it all clears up soon
