Cramping at 11 weeks & 5 days, normal?

Hi Ladies! Hope all is well in bump land. I've got a quick question, I've been cramping on and off today with a slight backache and I was curious if it was normal? I'm 11 weeks & 5 days I've never gotten this far so I'm not sure what to expect. I haven't had any bleeding or anything, and we've seen our lovebug at 8 weeks heartbeat of 160. Then heard it at 10w4d heartbeat was 166. We go for our 12 week scan friday. Just nervous, really praying our bean is perfect and healthy. Thanks in advance!!

Congrats on your pregnancy . I've had cramping and backaches the whole way through so far. My doctor said that cramping is normal as long as it doesn't become severe and isn't accompanied by any bleeding. I worry too with every ache and pain. Good luck on your scan Friday!! The 12 week scan was very exciting since baby is so much bigger and moving all around .

Thank you. I'm trying not to stress it, I have just a little cramping on and off since week 10. I guess it's just stretching, my DH and I are over the moon. Just praying everything is perfect, we're sooooooo ready to be parents

I'm in the same boat as you, only just 11 weeks. I had a VERY stressful day today and was scrunched in my office chair all day, now I'm cramping a bunch and my back is killing me. I have found when I am cramping, if I lay down, but with my back slightly propped up, then lay my hands over my lower abdomen, pelvic region ish, it helps a bunch. Almost soothing and as close to bonding as I can get I guess

This is as far along as I have been too, so I sympathize with you!

Thank you for your reply, I'm still cramping this morning I called my ob and they said its just the uterus stretching to make room for the baby, our little one was measuring at 11+ weeks at 10 weeks so they're expecting a big baby. I'm just ready to be out of the first trimester. They say the chances of mc go down signifinantly after seeing a hb but that doesn't really make you feel better. Esp when you've lost already. I'm patiently waiting on friday for our scan. Praying all our little beans are super sticky!!!

Slight cramping is really normal-nothing to worry about. If you are worried, see if you can get your scan moved up- nothing like seeing a little dancing baby and a strong heartbeat to make momma feel better! If it continues and you are worried, try to get in to see your doctor. That's what they are there for.

I've got my 12 week scan friday, so I'm trying to wait it out. I'm not bleeding or spotting and right now it's only on the left side like right below my hip bone. Just can't wait to be reassured.

I hear ya! All I keep thinking is two more weeks....two. more. weeks!!! To be into 2nd Trimester that is Good luck at your scan Friday! I am slightly jealous, mine isn't until Monday haha

Girl I'm anxious and slightly jealous myself lol. They wanted to do it at exactly 12 weeks cause lo was measuring a week ahead at 10 weeks. Good luck doll!
