Credit Union

OMG I applied for a credit union loan today and they might as well of asking me for proof of what I had for breakfast. Couldn't believe the amount of paper work I needed to get for them. And I wouldn't mind but the girl who took my application said to me that my shares are probably too low for them to give me the loan in anyway.

I thought credit union loans were supposed to be more accessible.
I have some savings with them and they haven't been great tbh but I know a lot of people who say the union usually asks you to save money and after a certain time you can then ask for a loan of 3 times the amount you have saved and it's pretty much always given.

I'm with them years. They used to be great for getting loans from but now its near impossible unless your going for what youhave in your shares

I guess they're taking after other financial institutions - where you can only get a loan if you can prove you don't need it!
