Creepy Films!!

I guess I'd say my favourites are: The Omen, Carrie, Poltergeist.

I don't understand all the hype about The Exorcist! I didn't think it was that great!!

For me its IT!!!!!!!!!! I have a huge fear of clowns and cannot watch it x

The dood in the rocking chair on salems lot freaked the shit out of me...again... I watched it at a very very young age... and his eyes were all glowing and shit and he was hissing when he spoke etc

The put and the pendulum too....the guy has this celler in his castle and ties a man on this bench things and this pendulum swings side to side with a HUUUGE blade on it...and it lowers too...so the dood tied to the table-bench thing eventually gets cut in half!! its a horror form like the 60s/70s but again I was about 7 when I saw it.

Im normally alright with horror movies but i watched disturbia last night and i was scared to death!

The first horror movie that scared the shit out of me was Pet Cemetery. It was the part where the dead guy appeared at the side of the bed with half a head. Mind you I was only like 9 lol. I'd not go upstairs by my self for a week.

As an adult, not many creep me out, but Wolf Creek made me feel physically sick and more so cause its something that could actually happen.

Yes, it was pretty bad wasn't it. My best mate and her bloke went backpacking round Australia for a year a few years ago. She said if she had seen the film first, she wouldn't have gone!

American werewolf in London... the original. I saw it when I was like 6 or 7. And to this day the howling in it freaks the shit out of me.

HAHAH me too i saw it when i was 5 and screamed all the way thru ive never watched it since lol.

Also another one was IT the killer clown havent watched it since i was 5 lol too scared of drains after.

A freaky film is the entity based on a true story that is weird. but i havent seen a good horror in ages one that makes me scared

EDIT also Pet cemetry

I saw that again recently, that was weird. Having an invisible entity having sex with you.

I wouldn't mind actually, you can fantasise its Christian Bale.

i hate horror films, especially the ones that could happen in real life.

he is a hot man i was just drooling over ur pic of him hahaha, the part that got to me was ppl thought it was her son n girls attacking her or that she had sexual feelings for her son.

Love love love horror films. :happydance:

Hostel 1 and 2....so gross and so funny.

Saw - Only 1 and 2 were good though.

Wolf Creek - scared the sh*t out of me

Eden Lake - found that disturbing, as you could see that really happening

The Strangers - anyone wearing a mask always scares me.

The Descent - I have claustrophia and this film really made me jump.

Like a lot of the older ones as well

Wickerman
Rosemary's Baby
The Exorcist
It
Texas Chain Saw Massacre
Halloween
Carrie

OH never watched them before he moved in with me, he has to endure now.

I hated but loved Eden Lake, one of the few movies to really get under my skin!

Yes I know what you mean. That little lad, the one that was in This Is England, what a good little actor he is.

Donnie Darko was a bit creepy.. with the big bunny dude.. but a good movie!! Not really scary, just a creepy bunny thing!

Even though I don't like horror's, I was disappoined that Candyman wasn't real LOL.. Hellraiser I don't class as a horror, its funny. As for nightmare on elm street, I get creeped out just looking at the dvd case let alone watch the movie

I just ordered wolf creek, the Amityville horror, Wicker man, House on haunted hill, Silent hill and welcome to the jungle:muaha::muaha:

I HATE The Grudge, the noise scares the shit outta me (You know, the strangled no-breath kinda noise)

Also i didnt like Mirrors or Gothika, im a wimp

OMG I HATEEEEEE that noise! It scares the shit outta me. My OH likes to be a dick and make that noise bcause he knows I dont like it :gun: lol

I looooooooooooove horror movies, even as a kid that was all i wanted to watch

Only thing that creeps me out is the puppet from Saw ... i had a dream that he rode up to me on his tricycle thing and told me it was my turn to play a game. eeeek!! I love all of the Saw films!!

I hated Blair witch .. the hand held cam style made me feel sick the way it wobbles about all the time

Nightmare on Elm St are my all time favourites .. i even have a big talking Freddy Kreuger doll in the loft. Oh and i have a good guy doll (Chucky) up there too :)

I hate chucky and that puppet out of saw too. Hes really freaky but saying that I do loveeee Saw films...even if it is gory

The based on true stories films scare me so much :(
eg.
The Strangers,
The Amityville Horror,
A Haunting in Conneticut

gosh there are loads :(

I hate the strangers aswell....whats with the masks?! No thanks lol x x x

Don't get creeped out easily.. Though the security camera scene in Ju-on creeped me the hell out! Some scenes in Fragile creeped me out too.

Another film that isnt horror genre per-se but still left me uncomfortable and creeped out was White Noise.

I think the trouble with alot of horror movies are they are predictable, can predict when something is going to pop out. I think Japanese horror is much better than western horror on the most part. Grittier and more surprising.

Yes I like Japanese horror films. The Japanese (original) version of The Eye, was so much better.
