Crisps ... eating how many is unhealthy?

This sounds sooo silly but I have had 2 packets of crisps already today, one salt and vinegar, one ready salted (not that the flavours matter:dohh:) but I REALLLY REALLY REALLY want another.
Think I have found my first proper craving!! :wacko:

ARGH I want another packet but also I know they have quite a lot of salt etc

Need to get the "healthier" ones with reduced salt, fat and so on.
 
Ha ha! I have started eating soooo much rubbish since being pregnant. It's like i'm thinking "well, i'm going to get fat soon anyway, so what's the point?!" :lol:

Everything in moderation they say. If you have three or four packets today i don't think that will do any damage, but having three or four every day might just make your hips get a wee bit wider than you would like. lol!
 
I agree with sausages, unless you're going through several on a daily basis its not too much to worry about, have you tried getting the baked crisps? I get sun bites that have 111 calories per pack which are pretty good :)
 
Hmm thats what I keep thinking one more won't hurt...just for today .
Tomorrow I will have to find something different! :lol:
I tried some of the baked ones at my mum's the other week, yummy!
 
snack a jacks are nice too, and have less fat etc in them, i just eat the all the time instead of eating crisps! xx
 
I have a thing for square crisps, and they are only 97 calories, yum yum!!
 
I'm eating quite a lot of crisps because I can stomach them- I wouldn't worry
 
I find im eatting more air popped pop corn then crisps. Maybe try some popcorn.
 
I think i've eaten my body weight in walkers ready salted over the last couple of weeks lol They are one of the few things i can stomach at the moment
 
Crisps have been my savour through the dreaded morning sickness! I swear, if it wasn't child cruelty I might even name the baby hula hoop! I think you're probably just at theat 'bland food is needed' stage, I'm still there and I've never been a crisp eater! I wouldn't worry too much.. I trust my body and I think if I was lacking in something my body would be telling me!

Keep eating the crisps!!! x
 
:hugs: everything in moderation. I know with my first pregnancy I had a pack of cheezies a day and some sweet tarts and I ended up 50lbs overweight.

I think if they help you get through the day, with all the sickness and such, you are fine!!
 
Due to MS I just seem to eating all naughty things as they are the only thing I fancy. I had chips and beans for lunch today, I'm going to end up massive. I'm not even being sick enough to balance it out (only once every few days), I just feel sick all day.

Must try harder to not eat naughty things! But crisps sound a good idea....Lol!
 
I love crisps me, sometimes 3 packs a day!

I'm not to worried about being 'unhealthy' I eat fruit and veg too... i just like my crisps!
