I may have to have a CT scan of my abdomen next week, which would put me at a few days post ovulation or right at the day I ovulate..Does anyone think that there is the potential for this to be harmful? I will obviously ask my doc if it comes to this but I was wondering about others' experiences with anything like this..

Thanks in advance!

It does say not advisable when pg but the radiographer would know more.

Haven't had this situation myself.

Good luck

I had CT of abdomen 10 days after ovulation and went on to miscarry. If CT is within 10 days of AF they will ask you to rebook unless you sign to say there is no chance of you being pregnant which is what i done i wasn't TTC as i thought i had IUD in place but body had expelled it after treatment for pre-cancerous cells. Radiologist has confirmed there was minimum risk to fetus.

Bankiebabe,
so the radiologist thought that the miscarriage was unrelated to having the abdominal ct?

Kaylakin, yeh my GP wrote to head radiologist as i was very worried when i found i was pregnant and had already had the CT scan they confirmed there was minimal risk as it was so early on. Hope this helps xx
