Cuddles.

Over the last few days, Oliver has become increasingly needy. Al he wants is to snuggle into me on my lap, with his dummy. He'll only play on his own for a few minutes, then he starts whining. If I don't go to him, then a few minutes later, the tears start. I can't get anything done!
Is this just a phase, or is he becoming a clingy baby? As much as I am adoring all this cuddle time, it can't go on much longer. He just spent the whole of baby cafe, where he just love to play and interact with the other babies, cuddled up on my lap. His favourite toy at the moment is my hair. Probably because it's always in front of him if he is on my lap.

Sounds like a phase to me, Hannah went through this too. She's gotten better but I do still have to sit with her a lot on the floor while she plays

It's just a phase hun, Jack has had this a few times. Especially at the moment and if I put him down and I don't pick him up he screams until I do! However as we know this is a bad habit to get into I now walk away when he thows a tantrum so he knows throwing a tantrum won't get my attention. Just try to put him down when you can and if you can Obviously I don't put him down if he is poorly as I know all he wants is cuddles!

Jacob has been going through this for last 2 weeks. He knows to put his arms out to get up or to go from one person to another so if he is sitting on daddy he is fine if im not in the room but if i walk in within 5 mins he is crying with his arms out to me Hopefully he will get through this phase soon only time i can do ANYTHING is if he is asleep or daddy got him but in another room from me XxX

Ellie has been doing this the last few days its driving me nuts as im not getting anything done at all! Today has been a nightmare ive had to try and get things done and ive just had to leave her to cry while i do my job at a 100mph and then quickly pick her up again. Benn did this to me as well but it quickly passed when he was capable of playing on his own better. So fingers crossed its just a phase.

Lexie is like this now. Almost everytime I put her in her swing while I get her steriliser / bottles / clothes laid up etc, she starts crying. And even though I know there's nothing wrong with her, I give in and pick her up, so I never get things done. She is getting really clingy, and it's not looking good lol. I am going to struggle when I move out - i will be on my own with Lexie, no parents to mind her while I shower etc. Yikes lol. I just hope this is a phase and she get's over it sooner than later!

Courtneys being abit like this at the moment too... winy if she cant see you ... and when you pick up she immediately stops crying!!
I think when they are teething they are more needy too!!

It sounds like a phase to me, Grace is going through a similar thing. If I leave her alone in a room she cries until I go back in. I let her cry though. The more I give into her, the more she'll do it and the less I'll get done. She'll learn eventually and so will Oliver, hopefully it won't be long until it phases out
