D&C question about bleeding

I had my D&C at 14 weeks yesterday and I've barely bled. Is that normal? I bled when I first went pee after the procedure and then again later that night, but since then, nothing. Just tiny spotting, barely hard to see. I'm not cramping or anything either. This should be a blessing, but I'd hate to think that there's something wrong? I called the dr and they said to wait a couple weeks and that the bleeding could be off and on for the next two weeks.

I guess it's good. I feel like I'm bloated and I feel like I should be passing a clot, it's hard to explain. I get that before my period, like I can tell my uterus is full and then it just blasts out of me, then tapers off after that. Is that possible? I feel fine otherwise, no fever, aches or anything. They said the procedure went fine.

Has anyone else felt like this after theirs? It's been just 24 hours now since the procedure, maybe I'm being impatient for the bleeding to start.

Mine didn't bleed for three days, then bled for about a week, very light spotting, then nothing after that. My hormone levels are being monitored, and they are doing what they should, so I guess that the bleeding (or lack of) must be normal too

I've been bleeding off and on very lightly since I posted this, so I guess that's ok.

I realized that I'm worried about them missing something and having to have it redone. I think that's what they were getting at by telling me to wait a couple weeks. That will only be known in time.

I pray, at least this physical recovery, goes smoothly, nothing else in this pregnancy has.

I think everyone is very different...and even depends on the reasons why and way its performed. I had my first D&C just before christmas at 10 weeks, when I found out my LO had died 3 or 4 weeks previous. I hardly bled at all for a few days, then had a small fresh bleed after about 5 days which lasted 2 or 3 days, turned to dark old blood and stopped.

Yet I had my second D&C one week ago today after a suspected molar pregnancy and I've bled ever since....fresh blood until the day before yesterday, now its definitely getting lighter, darker and older. I found I bled more if I tried to do too much in a day, so feet up is definitely a good idea!
