Not a fan of either. Daisy would not pass my "senator" test so I wouldn't pick it. Both are super cute for little girls, but it would be so hard for me to imagine a grown woman with the name Daisy in a position of authority or power. So by default, I'd choose Annie. Maybe Anna with nickname Annie.
I think of that song, of cows/dogs, of the ditzy woman from the sitcom Spaced and of cutesy little girls. I'd find it a bit odd on a grown woman I think.
I love Daisy. It was on my girls name list this time, along with Rosie, seeing as I already have a Lily. No more babies for me though so I'll never get to use it lol x

Daisy is one of the names we are considering if this baby is a girl (Daisy Fay or Marigold Grace). We actually considered Annie too I love them and think they work just fine for adults as well.
My only issue with Daisy is how common it is, in the UK (23rd most popular name of 2013) so there might be one or two in their class. Still, I think so long it's paired with a not overly common middle name this isn't an issue
My God daughter is called Daisy, when she was born I hated it but over the last ten years ive grown to love it. Old lady names are really back in fashion to.
