With my other kids I did not get such a dark positive around the same time. With my oldest the test was negative just past 4 weeks and with my youngest just a very faint positive at 5+5.

I read that a dark positive can mean early implantation (which I felt I had after 5-6 days) or multiples.

What was your experience and could it be more than one baby?:-k
I attached pictures of my most recent tests. The first is a ovulation test used as a pregnancy test (which really works too), the second is a not so sensitive test and the most recent meant for early detection (few days before missed period)

With the others I did not get a dark pos. until 7-8 weeks.

I found out at 5 weeks with my eldest and had a very dark line right away. :)

With daughter I had a very dark line on my first test, which was 4w4d. The test line was darker than the control line on a FRER. It didn't really mean anything in my case. My hcg was tested 2 days later and it was over 18,000 already. A scan a week later dated me 6w2d, so only 3 days ahead of what we thought based on LMP.

My test line was always really dark by 4 weeks or the day I missed my period.

My tests were always dark by the time I missed my period.

My tests have varied with each pregnancy. I’d say that looks great for your weeks! Congratulations x
