I went to Dr last Thursday, July 7th, for what I thought was a virus but he did a PT anyway and came back super quick to tell me I was pregnant!!
As soon as I left that Dr, I went to see my friend who is a receptionist at another office and she talked me into seeing her Dr there. Another confirmed test and going by my LMP, I should be about 11 weeks now.
HOWEVER, my LMP (Apr 28th) was very light and almost spotting.
So they make me an appointment at the ER lab to do a sonogram since I am considered high risk for having multiple mc.
According to the lady at the ER, who was not very nice by the way, I am only 7 weeks now.
I've read in multiple sites that the machines they use at the ER aren't that accurate with the dates and stuff. Makes sense because my town is cheap...
Backing up for a moment...
When I was a week late, I took an HPT and it come out negative. The very next week, being 2 weeks late, I took 2 more tests and they both come out negative, as well. I have issues with my hormones, so naturally, I assumed that was the case and thought I'd missed my chance again this month.
I am having a multitude of symptoms, including nausea if I don't eat as soon as my tummy rumbles and when I get "full". My nips are tender to the touch and I'm tired more than normal. Also, my lower abdomen is tight and I feel as though I have a 30 lb weight attached some days. I don't feel bloated but I cam definitely tell a baby is in there. I've been getting short of breath at times during the day, also but nothing too bad.
I can also feel flutters in my lower belly, which I'm assuming it's gas?
I've had one live birth already and I know previous pregnancies can make you more aware with new ones.
Okay so questions!! Sorry it's so long....
1. Which Dr should I listen to about how far along I am?
2. Has anyone else had a similar situation?
3. Since my LMP was short and light, could it mean I'm actually father along that I thought?
My first appointment with the high risk specialist isn't until the 28th of July.
I'd love to hear your stories!!!
BTW, hubby and I have been ttc for 3.5 years, with 1 mc last Feb. Other than that, this is the first bit of hope we've had in a very long time!
Also, my cycles are usually around 26 days. Thanks ladies!!!😊😚🤗
