December 2017 Testers: Hopeful for Christmas and Year-end BFPs

Md; well I'm not "planning" to! Lol, but you know what happens, I will keep you updated I have some Easy@home hpts coming with my LH strips so I will try to hold out at least until those arrive! Gotta test them out!

I love their OPKs but I got 2 false positives with the HPTs. Make sure you get backups!

AFM: US today shows 6 follies on each side but they range from 12-18mm. I'm doing one last injection of HMG today, trigger tomorrow night at 10pm, and my IUI Saturday morning. I don't know if I want to stress over testing out my trigger again, it caused so much heartache last time. I'm going to try and hold out for my betas on the 23rd and 25th. I'm desperately hoping this works again but with better outcomes.

So sorry to those who have gotten AF. Fingers crossed for you all next cycle!

AFM - My beta yesterday came back "positive, but low" at 30. The lab told us to call the office if my spotting came back, especially if it was accompanied by cramps, and it did, so we'll actually be able to get an US tomorrow.

My primary concern is that this could all be a false positive caused by a corpus luteum cyst that is on my left ovary. I guess we'll know more tomorrow, though.

In the meantime, I think my line progressions look promising!

CD1 starts today. I've had quite a bit of crying in the last two days. I will have my baseline US done Friday for this new cycle. Last time they cancelled it because of endometriomas growing on my ovary, yet I still got pg, so hopefully this cycle wont be cancelled and we can monitor throughout. I have a feeling I have lining issues (based on previous ultrasounds while looking at my cysts) which could corralate to my two early losses in 4 months. If that is the issue, I hope we can get it fixed. Anyway, depending on O date, I might be able to squeeze in an early test day (10 dpo if I O on CD 14/15) but I am joining January's. I'll still follow and wish you all the best of luck

So a little update so far. Still having weird cramps but mainly twinges on my left side. Wondering if I might actually be ovulating the first month off birth control or if it's still side effects. Felt extremely tired lately but working lots too so could be related to that! Might take a test in a week as it'll be 2 weeks since I first BD off the pill. Otherwise I'll hold out and see if AF shows up. If AF does come does that mean I've definitely ovulated and just not caught the egg?

I'm thinking I may be out this month, the last couple days I was feeling pretty sure this was my month, but today I feel pms-y and I gave in and took a couple of tests this morning (9dpo) that were BFN (a FRER and a cheapie). I'll test again in a few days, but not feeling much hope for this month anymore.

Really hard not to symptom spot. Told myself I'm not after O and still managed to put some symptoms in FF starting 6dpo but only up to 9dpo (temp dropped, so why continue?). You're not alone in your craziness

Very sorry about what happened TB. Hope you get more answers at to what's causing your early loss. If it's the lining issues, I hope a progesterone suppositories is all you need to help thicken the lining. I'm joining January soon, I just feel it. But I'll still be here supporting everyone.

Do check your CM if you're not using OPKs and temping. Once you see it fertile (watery/EWCM) then DTD until CM dries up or turns to creamy/sticky. It's really hard to tell whether you ovulated when AF arrives. Some women bleeds right on time even if it's anovulatory (no ovulation) cycle. Some women using OPKs get a surge but still not ovulate. Only way to confirm O occurred is through temping. Although there are women out there (saw thread in this site as well) that never had a confirmed O or thermal shift on their charts but got their meaning they did Ovulate even when the chart disagrees.

FYI Bebe those easy@home hpts never gave me a good line, even when my frers and dollar store tests were super dark. They were stark white or squinters!! I don't think they're super sensitive st all so not good for early testing.

I’m in for re takes of blood today too. Have a scan booked for the 20th December!

Have you tried a low dose of asprin for help with your lining? I’ve been told by my consultsant to take it daily from the start of trying to conceive as it helps with healthy fresh blood to you womb so he said. Plus I’m prone to miscarriage I have sticky blood

I was ~17dpo, as far as I can estimate. I triggered 19 days prior, but I do wonder if I ovulated a bit later because I didn't feel cramping for several days after, and I always get O cramps.

Hopefully we'll find out more today at the ultrasound. I'm hoping they'll just do my next beta this evening while we're there so I don't have to go back tomorrow morning.

Good luck with today's blood test! The 20th seems so far. I wish you tons of patience and baby dust for good growth!
