December 2018 Testing Thread ~ FX for Christmas BFPs!!

I didn't look at the clock when it happened, but I woke up a little while before my alarm went off feeling like I was having a hot flash! I was just starting to sweat and not soaked, thankfully. I had to strip out of my socks and leggings and take the covers off me for a while before I got comfortable again. I've had that happen before and my temps seemed unaffected but this time I have a pretty big jump. I'm a day ahead of FF so I think I'm at 6DPO.

9dpo.. BFN although one of the edited pics has a hint of a line but probably just pulled the indent. Not getting discouraged yet since it was 14dpo with my son before I saw a line! Just impatient and had to scratch the itch to test!

Fertility friend has put me at 3dpo. Was not expecting that, feel like i've lost a day somewhere now lol. Days are still dragging though!

As for me, arrgh, looks like I'm ovulating today and we have ZERO bd'ing in yet. And won't until tonight. My toddler has RSV and we were in urgent care last night and the past two days have been ROUGH, so no sex. We will tonight and tomorrow (even though tomorrow is likely too late). It's annoying because I never ovulate this early, but I'm taking pregnitude this cycle, so I think that's what did it. I don't mind it it keeps happening early, but we haven't BD'd in part because I though oh there's no way i'll ovulate this early, we won't miss it. Welp, darn it. It'll likely just be one shot this cycle for us. Fingers crossed just one shot does it!

Lady: Oh my gosh!!! Me too!! 6dpo today and last night this girl was on FIRE...my chart don't make no sense at all but the temps are flying up like crazy. And I know I already O'd but didn't expect my temps to go so high after the fact. Lets pray we are making baking some buns!!

EMS: Sorry about the tests, its hard for me to see anything on frers. I tried but you got all the babydust I can muster going your way.

Bumble: FF is finicky and will toss your O date and coverline around until it is happy. That's why its really good to get in tuned with your own body through cm, bbt and overall cycle 'stuff'. I hope no matter what day it gives you that bfp is right around the corner.

FTale thank you so much, i have pcos so i'm actually cd28 today. I only came off the pill 4 weeks ago so not too bad considering last time i ttc i would be in the cd100's lol! I will try & pay more attention to cm etc next time (if i get one lol) but i was too excited to just get a positive opk if i'm honest

I'm glad I'm not the only one burning up then LOL Fingers crossed that it's a good sign for us both I feel like it's too early to be obsessing over symptoms but I just can't help it! I love to look at TWW timelines like this one. So at 6DPO the little blastocyst may still be floating around or starting to implant. So crazy to think about how it all happens on this small, molecular level but then every day, the baby grows more and more. It's really amazing.

We put our decorations up last weekend! I don't love the cold weather but I love this time of year for the holidays. I love how warm and full our house is when we put everything up. Decorating for other seasons/holidays just isn't the same.

I'm a day late, I think... My AF usually comes 2days before the previous month's start date... I don't know if I'm going crazy but I haven't had the normal runny tummy I always have the week before my cycle starts, but for the life of me I keep feeling like it's going to start at any time even though I haven't felt any pains yet... My breasts have definitely grown though and I'm having trouble doing a number 2, my bladder feels fuller than usual when I gotta go, and my appetite is crazy, the dizzy spells and headaches are the worst... I hope I'm not imagining all of this and this pregnancy line is becoming more visible by the week... Am I going baby crazy???

I love to look at TWW timelines like this one. So at 6DPO the little blastocyst may still be floating around or starting to implant. S

I loved that timeline. One thing to add is the ADplantation, which I find fascinating.

Days 4 to 5 when the fertilized egg reaches the uterus, around Day 5 it goes through strong rhythmic contractions and then it breaks out of its shell and expands. They call this "the first birth" due to the contractions and birth. Then it attaches to the uterus and just sits there, sending chemical signals to control the immune system and be able to implant. (during the implantation window, Days 7 to 11).

I'm finally at 1 DPO here!

This cycle we covered O-4, O-3, O-2, O-1 and O-day itself! That's 5 days we BD in the fertile window!

I'm in a small village in the Alps of Italy and my husband is Italian, so it took a while for him to come around to the "timed" BD thing. "not trying, not preventing" didn't work for 6 months, so he now even asks me to tell him the days "it counts". Thank goodness.

We decorated the house for Christmas a few days ago. But his family has always done a nativity scene instead of the Christmas tree... so we did that.

But I'm from California so he also greed we'll pick a pine tree from the Alps and bring it home for me to decorate.

I’ll have my in-laws over for Christmas and they have a very big drinking culture on special occasions. If questioned I may have to tell them but I’m going to try and use work as an excuse. DH on the other hand will probably be the one to spill the beans

After my MC a couple of months ago I don’t feel confident telling anyone early this time, except for DH of course. I’m thinking up a plan on how to surprise him just now!

I would wait, i've had 4 losses so i would keep it to ourselves. We'd tell my sister though lol.
We decorated outside of our house yesterday & insides almost done now too. We have an elf on the shelf visit us so some decs like paper chains in the boys playroom will be an elf thing so are not done yet.

Was supposed to test on the 8th but I caved and tested yesterday... BFN.

Something was telling me to test this evening, and see if evening urine showed anything. (Why have all these wondfos and not let myself use them??) And.... this is something, yeah?! I'm 9 dpo.

The first two are at the 5 min mark, last one is totally dry. Gonna test again tomorrow morning.
