They really didn't know, oddly enough. I went into spontaneous preterm labor at 30 wks and was pretty much in labor on and off till my water broke at 35+5. Was a nightmare! Luckily son didn't have any long lasting effects.

Well it's 7.22 am here in the uk and time feels like it is on a standstill! Roll on 10.45!

Me again ladies, had my first appointment now. Everything went well. Under Consultant Led Care again but they did say even though I've had a previous section they would talk to me about the possibility of a home birth this time.

They agreed an early scan is necessary too and I should get an appointment for that in the next few weeks.

How is everyone else doing?

I'm due December 7th! I had a scan last week at 6 + 3 due to a very recent loss, and say a beautiful hb!
I'm so nervous this time but also have some really strong symptoms so I'm hoping this is my sticky bean

My scan went great saw and heard the hb so everything is perfect!! Im now due the 13th

No, I definitely didn't want a home birth the first time, or the second time for that matter.

Just this time, I am worried about childcare provision for my two children and being due so close to Christmas I'm worried about missing that with my children too.

I figured, if I had a home birth, once everything was all cleaned up I'd be able to go straight back to normal.

DF is totally against the idea. He's very very very worried about something going wrong and him losing me and the baby. I've got a specialist team coming out to see with me who deal with home births for higher risk ladies so I'll see what they say?

Glad the scan went well Lilrojo.

I'm enjoying the days of week 5 cos I have a feeling the morning sickness is just round the corner!

My ms and has been really on and off over the last week.. I feel sick if I eat and if I don't.. so just going with it for now.. as its a good sign.. but other than that im all good.. don't even really feel that terribly pregnant.. lol I hope things continue to go well for us all

Are any of you ladies doing the 12 week testing for downs.. ??

Yes I'm having the test. Had it with my other children too.

Im not sure yet.. probably.. I have not had it with my other 2 children.. and honestly im not worried about the results.. I mostly want it for the scan.. (is that terrible)

Nat, you're brave to consider home birth.. X Its not allowed in this country..but wow it's a it step. Hope you're able to have it your way..

Lilrojo, I completely understand where you're coming from.. I'm addicted to scans and I've had loads already I'm only 7 weeks today. I would grab every opportunity I got.. I'm getting my 12 week one for sure. Also because I'm worried about everything in general

Wow I had no idea it wasn't allowed in some Countries! We have the choice of birthing centre, home or hospital.

Tbh I just want the scan too. It's peace of mind.

In the UK that is the first routine scan to date the pregnancy as well.

I can't wait until I will have missed two periods. I'll start to relax a little then I think.
