Hi Ladies: Help me out here with opinions???
I woke up today and almost immediately had very bad nausea and low back pain - this never happens to be other than the morning I get AF - that yucky queasy/nausea feeling along with low back pain - It felt almost like AF was here! And she is a week away...... If I didnt have the low back pain to go along with it I may pass the nausea off as anything else.. but its causing me to get my hopes up just a little..
What do you think about this? I am only 6DPO so it is far too early to feel anything like this?
I had to lie back down after breakfast and was a half hour late to work because of it... it is still here but better than earlier for sure...
Thoughts?

My thoughts are to RELAX. Every symptom in the book, while fun to "spot," are all caused by progesterone rising in the luteal phase. I unleashed my research skills on this very topic last cycle and really the only thing that is caused by hCG is a positive pregnancy test. I'm not saying don't be hopeful - but don't read too much into anything other than a positive test. 6 DPO is too early for any true pregnancy symptom, but well within the time frame for you to feel the effects of rising progesterone (initially the same as PMS, just depends on whether they continue past your next period due date and whether there's hCG rising at that point). Fingers crossed for you, either way!

No they're only 29 to 30 days long but spotting always starts a week or so before af appears. I've had like 5 or 6 really long cycles since we've started ttc but most of the time pretty regular.
Hun, That dont sound right to spot for that many day's before AF. Have you spoke to you GP/Doc about it??? If you dont mind me asking. x x x
I don't mind you asking at all. I went to my GP in June after we had been trying for a year. I figured that spotting wasn't normal and I was having severe pain in my uterus whenever I would go for a jog ( only a mile and not very fast at all) But she looked at me saw how young I am and told me that if I wanted to get pregnant trying temping or opks, she then wished me luck and walk out. I was so mad because I felt like there was a serious medical problem that needed taken care of. So I made an appointment with a gyno in a different town because we have Kaiser and they don't have any in my town. She was alot more helpful, she really listened to me and understood that it was more than just me trying to get pregnant, that there might be something seriously wrong. So she did a pelvic examine, ran a few blood test, and ordered a ultra sound. The blood tests were thyroid and prolactin. But they came back normal as did my ultrasound. She said to give opks a try if we were really wanting to get pregnant ( she said to use the smily face ones because those are the ones she used and she like not having to stare at a test wondering if the line was darker or not) She said if I'm still having the same problems in 6 months to a year to come back and we'll start infertility testing. But DH and I aren't sure we're ready for that yet. Even though I most of the women in my family have had trouble ttc. We have endo and poor egg quality in my family and the spotting that I have is a sign of both.
