decrease in movement?

im 40 weeks, is it normal for little 1 not too move so much? xx

Im only 34 weeks and my LO is very active with her wee patterns but yesterday she didnt move as much which scared me. If i drank cold water or lay down and gave her a little nudge she moved fine but just wasnt all somersaults I think with less room to move etc they might have days of just chilling If you feel like you need assurance though phone MW or triage and they will be able to help you out. Hope everything is ok

I think it is normal for them to be less active. Are you able to get your baby to move? Sometimes...actually more recently I will notice less movement and panic. So I lay back and push at her butt and foot and wait and see if I get any movements. I also always can get mine to move by eating something sweet... That makes me feel a lot better. Try that sort of thing. If your still worried call the doctor to check things.
