So for the past week I have been feeling more and more movement and kicks have been stronger, but since yesterday baby has barely moved.

I've used my Doppler and hb was perfect and I have felt the occasional movement and kick.

Is it normal for movement to suddenly decrease? I know I'm still only 21 weeks so I'm trying not to worry too much, but it can't help it.

They definitely go through quieter days. If you're really worried I woudl call your midwife but honestly they say not to count the kicks until 28 weeks and thats because up until then there is still so much room for baby to move around in. I'm 24 weeks and baby still has quieter days now and again. XX

I am 21 weeks 3 days and baby has decreased movement/changed the time of day he is active. I don't think it is that much to be worried about unless it keeps happening or the baby doesn't move a lot for the next few days or so. Maybe just something to mention at your next OB appointment.

I find my girl can have quiet days. I do have anterior placenta though. Today she's been rather quiet so I've just drank some I've cold cream soda and she seems to be moving around a bit now. I do think she moves into different positions and ends up kicking the cervix somedays and other days my belly. I do still worry though x

I'm 21 weeks and to be honest I don't pay too much attention to kicks yet. Some days bubs makes itself known big time and others it's pretty quiet .. but like fleur said, they're still very small and there is still so many spots they can 'hide' at this stage and it may be moving but you may not be able to feel it as much.

I personally wouldn't worry at this stage, especially as the heart beat is fine. I know it's hard not to freak out about things like this though! if you are concerned obviously check it out but I think its totally normal!

Thanks ladies :hugs:

I'm not too concerned as I know it's still early, but I just can't help but worry :dohh:

I'll keep my eye on it and ring my midwife if I get too worried.

Thank you
